“I’m passionate about people—building real connections, empowering them to take control of their health, and helping them feel their best every day. A healthier smile can change so much more than people realize and I’m grateful to be part of that journey.” — Dr. Prior
Dr. Prior’s journey in dentistry started right here in St. Louis. After earning his degree in Biology from Southern Illinois University—Edwardsville, he went on to complete his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine.
But for him, graduating was just the beginning. He’s spent his career actively pursuing advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, dental implants, and whole-body wellness. He is currently undergoing extensive training at the prestigious Kois Institute, a world-renowned program dedicated to advancing clinical excellence through science-backed education.
As his expertise has grown, so has his vision for what dentistry can be. His commitment to functional and wellness dentistry stems from a desire to push beyond the limits of traditional care—connecting oral health with whole-body wellness and giving others the tools to take control of their long-term health.
Beyond patient care, Dr. Prior has discovered a passion for mentorship, leading courses in dental implant placement. Guiding other dentists to grow in skill has become one of the most meaningful and rewarding experiences of his life.
If you know Dr. Prior, you know his love for St. Louis runs deep. This city and its people have shaped him, and he’s determined to give back in every way he can. From providing life-changing smile makeovers and extensive free dental care to those in need, to offering pro bono treatment to help restore confidence.
That same commitment extends far beyond the walls of 100 West Dental. Through his partnership with Healing Action, we support survivors of human trafficking on their path to healing, donating a portion of every new patient exam to further their mission.
Outside of all things dentistry, family comes first. He and his wife Brittany love nothing more than spending time with their two amazing kids.
Whether it’s cheering on Knox (aka “The Sequel”) at little league baseball games or making a spontaneous Disney trip with Brooklyn, they never miss a chance to make memories together.
